EdgeSwitch XP - Enable Passive PoE Output

Readers will learn how to enable Passive PoE output on the interfaces of an ES-XP.
NOTES & REQUIREMENTS:
Applicable to the latest EdgeSwitch XP firmware on the following models:
- ES-5XP
- ES-8XP
- ES-16XP

How to enable the PoE Output
GUI: Access the ES-XP Web UI.
1. Navigate to the Dashboard tab.
2. Select the Configure option to enter the Advanced settings for a port.
3. Change the PoE mode by choosing between the following options (depending on the ES-XP model):

OffNo PoE output. -
24VPassive PoE output using 24V. -
48VPassive PoE output using 48V.
WARNING:Make sure that a compatible PoE device is plugged into the port before enabling the Passive PoE output.
4. Apply the changes by clicking on the SAVE button.
