EdgeSwitch & EdgeSwitch X - Device LED Statuses
Overview
This document explains the operational state of an EdgeSwitch (ES) or EdgeSwitch X (ES-X) based on the System LED status.
NOTES & REQUIREMENTS:
This article applies to all EdgeSwitch (ES) and EdgeSwitch X (ES-X) models, with the exception of the EdgeSwitch XP (ES-XP) models.

EdgeSwitch Units with System LED
ATTENTION:On the EdgeSwitch (ES) devices, these new system LED patterns only apply when using the latest bootloader version. The EdgeSwitch bootloader needs to be manually updated, see the How to Update the Bootloader for more information.
As of the v1.8.0 EdgeSwitch (ES) firmware release, the device status LEDs have been improved to provide a more clearly defined state of the device. See the tables below for the description and meaning of the different system and port LED patterns.
The table below does not apply to the following EdgeSwitch XP (ES-XP) models:
